Tax Committee

The Tax Committee mission:

1.) Educate BLIA membership on real estate valuation practices and classification laws affecting Bay Lake area property tax payers and local governments.

2.) Act as “watchdog” for BLIA members with county assessors, and monitor the recorded sales of Bay Lake area property to predict future assessment practices.

3.) Provide information to BLIA board for consideration of distribution to memberships regarding state law proposals.
